How can I support you?

Do not include urgent or highly sensitive clinical information in this general contact form.

Need Urgent Support?

Therapy With MJ, LLC is an outpatient counseling practice and does not provide emergency or crisis services, 24-hour monitoring, or immediate response to messages.

If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, are in immediate danger, or believe you may harm yourself or someone else, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

If you are experiencing a mental health, suicide, or emotional crisis and need immediate support, call or text 988 to connect with the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Please do not use our contact form, email, voicemail, or client portal for emergency or crisis situations, as these methods are not monitored continuously.

Your safety matters. If you need immediate support, please use the emergency and crisis resources above rather than waiting for a response from our practice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers before you reach out.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes—we currently accept Superior Health, Aetna, Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Curative. Private-pay options are also available for services not billed to insurance.

What happens during my first session?

Your first session is a chance to share what brings you in, ask questions, and decide whether the therapeutic relationship feels like the right fit—you don’t need to have it all figured out beforehand.

Do you offer virtual sessions?

Yes. Virtual sessions are available depending on your location. Myea Hunt is licensed in Texas, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina; Gerranda Poole is licensed as an LPC-Associate in Texas.

How do I know if I need therapy or life coaching?

Therapy addresses clinical and emotional health concerns, while life coaching is a non-clinical, forward-focused space for clarity, confidence, and growth. If you’re not sure which fits, reach out and we’ll help point you in the right direction.
