Christopher “Wuzu” Owusu, LPC-Associate, LCDC
Therapist | Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor
Christopher “Wuzu” Owusu is an LPC-Associate and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) who believes therapy should be a space where clients feel genuinely heard while also gaining practical tools to create meaningful change.
As a U.S. Army combat veteran and former educator, Wuzu brings a grounded, relatable perspective to his work with teens and adults navigating life’s challenges. He understands that stress, relationships, identity, past experiences, and substance use can affect more than one area of life. His approach focuses on helping clients understand what is happening beneath the surface, recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck, and develop healthier ways of moving forward.
Wuzu’s therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, practical, and direct. He works alongside clients to explore the beliefs, behaviors, relationships, and experiences influencing their current lives while helping them build strategies they can use outside of the therapy room. Whether a client is navigating a difficult transition, struggling in relationships, feeling overwhelmed by stress, or working toward recovery, Wuzu creates space for honest conversations without judgment.
His goal is not simply to help clients gain insight, but to help them turn insight into action—building greater self-awareness, healthier coping skills, stronger relationships, and intentional, lasting change.
